2017 Noble Beach Prize: The Bombest Bar, Catalonia Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic

There are nine wonderful drinks to choose from, but the most popular are the Ma Loo, which is made of bananas, pineapple and orange juice; the Guey, a mix of papaya, melon orange juice and honey; and the Cibao, which is made of bananas, melon, milk and sugar. While you’re trying all these yummy libations, you can work on your tan while listening to the purr of the ocean, stroll on the beach, or just hang out in the dreamy turquoise ocean.

The pearly white sand that hugs the bar at the Catalonia Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is tremendous. If you want to get a view of the blue, just pad on over to the palapas and plop down. The beach has wait service, so you can kick back all day.
