Not everyone’s mind goes to Bermuda when thinking about the perfect beach getaway. But we think this beautiful beach destination should be at the top of everyones must-visit list! Not only are the beaches beautiful, but the amount of non-beach activities is just as abundant! Get ready to check some of the best things to do off of your Bermuda bucket list!

Calico Jack’s (pirate ship bar on the water)

Arrr matey! Climb aboard Calico Jack’s bar and pirate ship, and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Not only is this a floating bar, but it’s also one of the best spots to do more than just lay on the beach! Practically an adult playground, the once ferry boat, turned pirate ship and bar, is located just off of Heritage Wharf in the Dockyard. Be sure to stop by for an unforgettable experience.

Lili Bermuda

This old world perfumery not only has a picturesque entrance and enchanting aroma, but it offers fragrance workshops where you can create your own scent on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-5pm, by appointment only. They also offer afternoon high tea on Wednesdays and Saturdays, where you can sip and smell with some of your closest friends. Talk about the perfect activity for a girls getaway in Bermuda!

Drink a Rum Swizzle

The Rum Swizzle may sound like a 50’s dance move, but we promise it’s so much better. Often referred to as Bermuda’s national drink, it gets its jazzy name not from the ingredients, like most cocktails, but from how it’s made–with a little swizzle, of course! It’s made with a swizzle stick, which is a stick from a tree found in the Caribbean that has finger-like prongs sticking out of the end, perfect for stirring! The bark, often no longer used, gives off a slightly bitter flavor. Now, when the bark isn’t or cannot be used, bitters are added in for flavor. Grab a Rum Swizzle and check another thing off your Bermuda bucket list!

Wander through Crystal Caves

Crystal Caves is a true natural wonder in Bermuda. You can see 50 feet down, through crystal clear water, that seems as if it’s hardly 2 feet deep. Above you, you’ll see one of the most beautiful sites–thousands of crystallized stalactites. It’s a sight unlike any other. If you’re really looking for the ultimate cave experience, you have to check out Grotto Bay Beach Resort’s spa! It’s located IN a cave!

Relax on Pink Sand Beach

There are very few places in the world where the beaches are covered in pink sand, and Bermuda is one of them! Pink Sand Beach in Bermuda has the most beautiful shades of pink you’ve ever seen. The shade of pink varies due to the amount of coral that washes ashore. But, regardless of the shade, seeing this enchanting site should be on everyone’s Bermuda bucket list. Grab the cutest outfits you brought to Bermuda and head to the beach for some photos that’ll be out of this world!
