With so many offerings, it’s hard to decide where to go when venturing away from your resort in Aruba, but it is a must when looking for some of the most authentic foods in Aruba. Could there possibly be anything better than dining with the waves at your feet? At Flying Fishbone (formerly Matthew’s Beachside Restaurant), you can do just that! You have to try their Unicorn Fish and for dessert, the flaming Baked Alaska or the chocolate ravioli will be the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Seats fill up fast, so be sure to make reservations as early as you can.

Papiamento in Aruba is a true gem. Located in an old mansion, where the owners of the restaurant grew up, you’ll find an intimate dining experience with exquisite food to match. The champagne casserole is absolutely to die for and goes great with the onion soup. If you’re up for something even more unique, they also have a selection of meals that come on a hot stone.

The West Deck is best known for their tasty cocktail in square glasses, but today, we’re dishing all about their food! Most of us are accustomed to chicken fingers, but The West Deck landed a spot on our island eats in Aruba for their grouper fingers! They are a crowd favorite and a must try when in Aruba.
