Why Are TRS and Grand Palladium Resorts So Perfect? You’ll See.

by Lisa Mitchell January 29, 2018
written by Lisa Mitchell

If you’ve seen the initials “TRS” and are not sure what it stands for, let us clear this up. TRS means “The Royal Suites.” The operative word here is “royal,” as each of these heavenly hideaways in Mexico and the Dominican Republic have been designed to make you feel like a king or queen. That’s what TRS Hotels, which is a part of the Palladium Hotel Group family, is all about. So it’s no surprise that the creed at TRS Hotels is Infinite Indulgence®, which is exactly what you’ll experience in each sparkling destination.

TRS Yucatan Hotel = Swoon-Worthy

About an hour south of Cancun is where you’ll find this gem in the Riviera Maya, on the spectacular Yucatan Peninsula, home of stunning natural beauty, beguiling Mayan culture and rich history. If that’s not enough, the idyllic beaches are home to the second largest coral reef in the world. Underwater fun, anyone?

Admittedly, getting to the TRS Yucatan Hotel is a bit of a drive; however, the minute you arrive, all your worries will evaporate into the ocean breeze. When you step foot into this escape haven, you’ll be greeted with a refreshing cocktail that will soothe body and soul. While you’re relaxing and enjoying your private check-in, you’ll be struck with the complete and utter luxury of the resort: the clean, modern design of the resort and lush tropical flora that surrounds it. (You’ll instantly feel like royalty.) Better still, you’ll have the amenities of a boutique hotel; however, Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts sits adjacent with a variety of different restaurants, bars and pools that you will get priority access to, giving you the best of both worlds.

All-Inclusive and All-Awesome

How do endless adult beverages, gourmet cuisine and VIP service sound? Thought so. All of this is what you’ll enjoy because TRS Yucatan Hotel is all-inclusive, all-adults and all-awesome. There are two private bars just for TRS Yucatan Hotel guests, where the creative mixologists will whip up all your favs and perhaps some new ones. The butler service here is ready to pamper you, and it’s available 24/7. Speaking of indulgence, the Zentropia Spa & Wellness Center is a stress-smashing wonderland unto itself: waterfalls, vapor baths, hydro massage, couples’ treatments and oceans more. The salt-water infinity pool is amazing, and with wait service, you’ll never be drink-less. Helios Beach Club and Infinity Pool sit in an exclusive area is where all the action is. For delicious displays of gastronomy, Chic Cabaret & Restaurant is your next stop. If you’re up for venturing off the resort, Akumal is just seven minutes away, where you can swim with the turtles and get your ruins on. Mayan, of course. Sound like a dream? It kind of is, and yet, it’s very, very real. And it’s all waiting for you.

 TRS Turquesa Hotel = Breath-Stealing

After a 20-minute ride from the Punta Cana airport, you’ll be greeted with the shimmering turquoise water, shockingly white sand and endless coconut palms that line the world-famous Bavaro Beach. Yes, you’ve just entered paradise, otherwise known as the TRS Turquesa Hotel in the Dominican Republic.

All-Inclusive and All-Amazing

All-inclusive, all-adults and all-amazing is the theme here. As you sip on your chilly welcome cocktail and enjoy your private check-in, you’ll immediately get a sense for the impeccable sense of detail that TRS Hotels are known for. Like the TRS Yucatan Hotel, you’ll be tucked away from the crowds in a smaller property that also offers all the perks of the larger hotel, The Palladium, which is just a seashell’s throw away.

Be sure to pack your appetite because the world cuisine will slay your taste buds at the TRS Turquesa Hotel restaurants: Kusko, La Boheme and Capricho. However, the crème de la crème is Helios. Inspired by the beach clubs of Ibiza, this epicurean locale offers a chef-curated menu and chill atmosphere. There are seven (yes seven) private pools for TRS Turquesa guests only, so you can sip and sun your way around them. If you want to get exercise-y, then there are plenty of water sports (and regular sports) to dive into–everything from catamarans to tennis. However, the main attraction is the private beach. While you’re descending into nirvana, the wait staff is there to anticipate your every whim. In a word: bliss.

Grand Palladium Resorts and Spas. Perfection on the Sand

 The Magic of Mexico

From Cancun to the Riviera Maya, Baja to the Pacific Coast, Mexico is a wellspring of astonishing natural beauty and rich culture. So, what better place than a Grand Palladium Resort and Spa to hunker down and soak in all this awesome?

Rockin’ in the Riviera Maya

In the Riviera Maya, there’s a spectacular complex that includes Grand Palladium Colonial Resort and Spa, Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort and Spa and Grand Palladium White Sand Resort and Spa. When you enter this tropical wonderland, the first thing you’ll see are the stunning pink flamingos.

After you’ve snapped a few photos and moved towards the resort, you’ll see a swarm of little raccoon-like mammals scampering around called coatimundis. They’re friendly little guys, so you can get some adorable pics, but don’t get too close: they’re still wild animals.

After you’ve checked in and gotten settled, you can immediately dig into the all-inclusiveness, which includes scads of delish nosh spots and bar after bar to get your drink on. The Zen-centric spa offers treatments that range from Vichy massage, to vapor baths, to stress-ousting massages. There are oceans of water sports and Mayan ruins are just a short hop away. Best of all, you can take advantage of all the incredible restaurants and bars in each Grand Palladium Hotel & Resort.

Reveling in the Riviera Nayarit

If lush mountains that cascade down to cerulean waters sound like your kind of place, then Mexico’s Gold Coast is where you’ll want to head. And there’s no better place to stay than the Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort and Spa on the Riviera Nayarit. This dream spot on Banderas Bay is Chill Central, with palapas that dot the shore and margaritas that flow easily. The calm waters of the bay, as well as the waterpark, will keep your munchkins occupied and happy, while you sip your cocktail and work on your tan around the adults’ pool. If you’re up for some spoiling (and who’s not), head to the Zentropia Spa & Wellness Center for some outta sight treatments. The Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort and Spa is, indeed, a hidden jewel on the Pacific Coast.

 Jammin’ in Jamaica

With water so blue you might not believe it’s real and the lush Blue Mountains that hug the sea, Jamaica is a dream. The moment you step off the plane, you’ll understand why Jamaica is an island like no other. And Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Jamaica are an escape haven like no other. At the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa, you’ll encounter one of the most overwhelming sights ever: the largest infinity pool in Jamaica. It goes on and on and on. It’s not surprising that it won the 2017 Noble Beach Prize for The Pool That Rules. Trust us, it’ll knock your flip flops right off.

 Dreaming in the Dominican Republic

Rumor has it, when Columbus landed on this island, he was left speechless. This is no shock. With crystal-clear waters, white sand beaches, fringy palms and an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius/77 degrees Fahrenheit, you will be, too. The only thing that can make this dream of paradise any better? A stay at Grand Palladium Resorts and Spas in Punta Cana, which includes Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa & Casino and Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa. The dazzling Dominican is waiting for you.
